Generosity
My mom donated a projector headlights to our church. I admire the generosity of my mother. She had taught us the importance of good deeds. Man is a creature of love. Our need for acceptance and belonging is all rooted on this. To be human is to love and to share what we have. Our self-worth is not only based on how much we are love but more deeply on how we have loved others. You become truly human when you are able to respect, care and show compassion for others. When you sincerely love, you want to give the best there is. This will mean discovering the best in you, so that you may share it with others. Man’s true worth can never be fully realized by physical beauty, ingenuity, or affluence. It is actualized only by the service you have done for others; by how much you have truly shared yourself to them. For us to find meaning, we must reach out to others. Smile at people. Take every opportunity to help others. We are a gift and we realize our purpose and meaning in this world. We bring joy to others around us by simply sharing even the simplest thing in us. Generosity is the best thing that our parents have been able to impart to us. We want to share the best of ourselves with the persons we love. Material things are just one of God given gift to all of us. We just have to be aware that there are people who are in need more than us. We need to sacrifice sometimes to give happiness to others. All the things that we want to do in life are not of equal importance. We should learn to sift those which are real priorities and those which are merely trivial. If you are to feel that you have accomplished much, it is necessary to keep yourself focused on what is essential to reach our goals. In our life we need to consider the very important tasks for us. A sense of achievements or a success experience uplifts our spirits. It makes us feel good about ourselves, thus fostering a sense of well-being.
